Following on from the previous workshop where we
looked at Meridians, here we are going to look again at
Chinese philosophy regarding the foods we eat. The
Chinese people believe that foods come in two
categories either hot or cold and a balance has to be
achieved for harmony in our bodies therefore giving
good health.

E Numbers
More and more it is becoming important to understand
what is being added to our foodstuff. There are
hundreds of E numbers, a few good, some bad and
some very bad. We are going to look at where they can
be found in our food and why they are added and what
adverse affects can be triggered from them.

Natural food supplements – Flaxseeds and
Flaxseed oil
Foods supplements are now sold in abundance, so I
thought it would be a good idea to look at some of the
more well known ones and what they are taken for and
why.

Herbs Ginger
This super herb has so many properties it has been
used through the centuries both in cooking and
medicine. We are going to look at some of the areas
that is has been found to be beneficial.

Super Food – The humble cabbage
It is amazing just how many varieties of cabbage there
are and the health giving properties that can be found in
this nutritious vegetable. It is packed with anti-oxidants
a natural to mop up free radicals the scourge of the
human body.
